The role
Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Teacher of ICT to work in a specialist provision in the Sunderland Local Authority. This is a long-term position that is due to commence in September 2020.
This role will start out on a supply basis, with the potential to lead to a permanent role for the right individual. This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday 08:30am – 16:30pm, teaching students who have difficulties managing their emotions and behaviours.
Requirements
To be considered for the Teacher of ICT position, you will:
- Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Be available to work 5 days a week.
- Ideally have an understanding of young people with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) difficulties and, experience teaching them.
- Have the ability to teach ICT at a GCSE Level.
- A calm and nurturing personality.
