About Role

Dulwich College Shanghai Pudong seeks a well-qualified, caring and inspiring teacher of Mandarin (Native Language Pathway) for Years 7 to 13, ideally with experience of teaching IGCSE and/or the IB Diploma Programme. The ability to teach Mandarin as a second or foreign language will be an advantage. This is a rewarding opportunity to be part of a strong and forward-looking team in one of Asia’s most established and reputable international schools.

Post-holder Qualifications, Experience

• A degree in Chinese Language and/or Literature or equivalent
• A PGCE or equivalent in a related subject
• At least 2 years’ experience teaching Mandarin (Native Language Pathway) to learners in a secondary school (Years 7 – 13)
• IGCSE and/or IBDP experience is desirable
• The ability to teach Mandarin as a second or foreign language will be an advantage.
