Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Teacher of Maths & English to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a Football College in Rochdale, Lancashire to support a group of students aged 16 - 19 in obtaining Maths & English GCSEs on a part time basis. 

This is a contract to start ASAP and will continue to the end of the academic year. 

The Rochdale provision aims to deliver high quality dynamic and professional Football Scholarship and Education Programmes, and has recently been graded as GOOD by OFSTED.

The behaviour and attitude of the students is outstanding, and students enjoy going to the provision to learn. They are given their own study programme based on their GCSE grades, and are assessed on their theoretical knowledge as well as their practical application. The staff are very much invested in the success of the provision and the department are a forward thinking and welcoming department to work in.

The desired Teacher of Mathematics & English will be supported by a dynamic and passionate management team, and will work alongside some excellent practitioners, who put children at the heart of everything they do. The desired Teacher must have experience of teaching Mathematics & English to KS3 and 4.


To be considered for the position of Teacher of Mathematics & English Teacher you must:

  • Have experience teaching GCSE
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Teachers
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
