Teacher of Mathematics
Full time (Part time considered for the right candidate).

Townley Grammar School is a multicultural girls’ selective school with a specialism in Performing Arts with Mathematics and Computing.
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding full or part time teacher of Mathematics from January 2019.
We are looking for a suitably qualified teacher to join a highly successful department where Mathematics is one of the most popular subjects at A' Level.
There are approximately 1500 students on roll, including a co-educational sixth form of over 400 of which approximately half of the sixth form students take Mathematics and/or Science subject at A-level.
Rated as Outstanding by OFSTED in November 2015, key findings include:

Our STEM provision extends beyond the curriculum with exciting fun-packed off curriculum STEM Days, a highly successful STEM Leadership program and numerous clubs and events throughout the academic year.
We have exciting and innovative relationships with science specialist schools in Russia and Japan; together with our STEM trip to CERN in Switzerland we offer exciting international opportunities to interested mathematicians.
We offer a full and robust induction programme for all new members of staff as part of the school’s Staff Development Programme with further support for staff new to the teaching profession. We encourage professional development across the school including opportunities to share ideas for improving teaching and learning.
