Can you make a difference to the future lives of Glasgow's children? Bannerman High School is seeking to recruit a Teacher of Mathematics. You must be a committed, passionate and well qualified member of staff. We will support you to inspire the learning of our children and young people. You will be required to teach in a successful department in all aspects of its work including preparation for exams and leading young people in their development of Mathematics.  Teaching duties involve teaching Mathematics and numeracy to pupils S1-S6, preparing lessons and courses required and supporting the delivery of Curriculum for Excellence across all ages and stages of the secondary school.  In addition to the range of teaching and other duties outlined in the job specification we are looking for individuals who enjoy working collegiately with colleagues, and who have with a firm commitment to improving the outcomes for Glasgow's young people.

Bannerman High School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form. It is situated in the Baillieston suburb just east of Glasgow city centre. It is a comprehensive school composed of three buildings within its own grounds. The school also has a separate Autism Unit onsite. The school will provide 1,400 places for secondary and sixth form students between the ages of 12-18, when fully subscribed.

Bannerman High first opened in 1973, and all areas of the school have undergone a major refurbishment in 2001 to update the school for the new millennium.
