About the role
Tes is supporting the appointment of a well-qualified, able and inspiring graduate teacher of Mathematics at an independent school based in Hampshire. The successful candidate, who will teach throughout the school, will join a thriving Mathematics Department that has 13 teachers.
This is a boys’ boarding school of 700 pupils. In 2022, the school will accept day pupils at 16+ years, both boys and girls; and girl boarders at 16+ years from 2024.
The school’s examination results are excellent. They offer a distinctive and rigorous curriculum, which is complemented by a very wide range of sports, music, art, drama and other co-curricular activities. At all levels the school encourages pupils to look beyond the curriculum. Div is their unique programme of general cultural studies and offers an excellent preparation for university study. In these lessons, pupils engage with a wide range of subjects, from English Literature to Ancient History to the History of Science. The successful candidate may be asked to teach Div.
