British International School Hanoi is looking to appoint a Teacher of Mathematics, to join our talented and dedicated team of educators from August 2022.


The Mathematics Department at BIS Hanoi is a collaborative, supportive, forward-thinking team consisting of highly motivated teachers who deliver the highest quality teaching and learning to our students. We deliver learning inspired by the English National Curriculum in Years 7-9, Cambridge IGCSE in Years 10-11 (with our top students also embarking on CIE IGCSE Additional Mathematics), leading ultimately to the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) in Years 12-13. The ideal candidate will have the ability to plan and deliver high quality lessons that engage, motivate, and challenge students of all abilities, and come with innovative, enriching ideas, as well as being a strong team-player. A desire and willingness to teach through Years 7 to 13 is essential, along with experience of (I)GCSE and preferably IBDP.

  • Promote well-being of students at all times, and proactively safeguard students according to school safeguarding policies and procedures, following them at all times.     
  • Skillfully integrate learning technology into practice, selecting the most appropriate tools to enhance the learning experience
