Job overview

We are looking to appoint an outstanding teacher of Mathematics for September 2019.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our large, innovative and supportive Mathematics Department.

We are a growing and oversubscribed school in Runcorn, with three specialisms of Mathematics, English & Literacy and Applied Learning that permeate the culture and ethos of the Academy.

You must have very good subject knowledge and be committed to raising the achievement and aspirations of all students. Additionally, you will want to sustain improvements in the teaching and learning of Mathematics. We have high expectations of our students and encourage them to participate in school trips, extra-curricular activities and enrichment sessions. If you can engage and challenge students to achieve their full potential, we want to hear from you.

A strong professional development package will support you throughout your career at OBA if successful, with many opportunities to advance yourself personally and professionally. We also have an excellent NQT training programme, and welcome applications from NQT’s. If you are excited by the prospect of being part of a vibrant and constantly developing team, come along and visit our academy.

Details and application form are available via email from k.rawcliffe@ob-ac.co.uk

Completed application forms and covering letters should be returned to the Principal, Mr E. Wright. We can only accept applications submitted on school application forms.

Closing date for applications is 22/02/2019.

Interviews w/c 04/03/2019.

Ormiston Bolingbroke Academy is committed to, and actively promotes, equal opportunities for all its students and staff. The Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
