Guildford County School are seeking to appoint an innovative individual to join a highly successful department to teach up to and including A Level.  Mathematics is a strong department in the school with a very supportive team ethos.  In 2019 students achieved 87% Grade 4+, 67% Grade 5+ and 30% Grade 7+ at GCSE and 86% A*-B and 66% A*-A at A level.

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and innovative Teacher of Mathematics to join this successful department and teach up to and including A Level.  A recruitment and retention allowance may be available to the right applicant.  The position could suit either an experienced teacher or a recently qualified teacher with the appropriate experience.  An ability to teach GCSE Business Studies would be an advantage.  We welcome applications from NQTs and actively support new teachers with an established and extensive NQT programme.  We are as committed to your development as we will expect you to be to the progress of your students.  A position of responsibility within the department or the wider school may be offered to a suitably qualified candidate.

The successful applicant will have strong subject knowledge, and be a reflective practitioner who embraces emerging technologies and has a passionate enthusiasm for teaching and mathematics.
