Teacher of Mathematics

We are seeking a committed, loyal and enthusiastic teacher of Mathematics to join our very strong Mathematics department. The department consists of nine members of staff who all teach across the ability and age range. Over 69% of pupils gained a Grade 4 and above in Maths for the 2019 examinations. Maths is extremely popular at KS5 with over one hundred pupils taking this subject at AS/A2 level. The appointed candidate will teach KS3 - KS5 and across all ability ranges in a very supportive environment.

Ernest Bevin College is an 11-19 boys’ school with 1250 pupils on roll. We have a mixed sixth form of 370 students based in state of the art buildings with good transport links.

We are an Elite Sports College competing at national and international level in a range of sports. We have full time coaches for volleyball, judo and table tennis and fantastic sports facilities including a swimming pool and fitness studio. These facilities are extensively used by students and staff free of charge.

We have a Combined Cadet Force (CCF) and the Royal Marines working with us on site, and we have recently formed a Cricket Academy in partnership with Twenty20 Community Cricket.
