It is well known in the area for being a great school to teach in and where the students are highly aspirational. We were judged ‘Good’ by Ofsted in January 2016, the school was described as having a ‘deep seated conviction and moral purpose that all pupils have the right to an excellent education which drives a very positive culture in the school’. We are very proud to acknowledge a progress score (0.58 2017) that places us in the top 10% of schools nationally. We believe in professional development for the next stage in your career in exchange for hard work and a commitment to the children.
