Job overview

We are looking for a committed, passionate and enthusiastic teacher to join the Mathematics Department at The Elms School from September 2019. The post entails working with children from Year 4 to Year 8 following the ISEB Common Entrance syllabus to 13+. 

The ideal candidate would be joining a thriving department which inspires an interest and enthusiasm for the subject. For the right individual there is potential to lead the department and teach scholarship Mathematics in preparation for entry to a wide range of leading public schools. There is flexibility in this post to teach a second subject alongside the mathematics teaching. 

A willingness to take part in extra-curricular activities would also be welcomed with the ability to coach sport being an advantage.  The successful candidate will be committed to the boarding ethos of this highly successful independent preparatory school.
