Teacher of Maths

Job title:                Teacher of Maths (and Computing if possible)  

Grade:                MPS / UPS   

Hours:                Full time  

Responsible to: Head of Maths Faculty  

Start date:           1st September 2018  

Required for September 2018, a well-qualified Teacher of Maths (with some Computing if possible) to teach across the age and ability range including GCSE and A Level in a faculty that achieves excellent results and high standards.  We are looking for an enthusiastic and imaginative individual to join a committed Maths Faculty.  NQTs are welcome to apply.  

The ideal candidate will: 

 • Be passionate about the learning of young people

 • Have excellent communication skills 

• Have excellent IT skills 

• Have good organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail

 • Be able to prioritise workload 

• Be able to work independently using their own initiative whilst also being a good team member 

• Have high levels of literacy and numeracy

 • Be committed to personal career development

Bishop’s Hatfield Girls’ School has 830 pupils on roll including Sixth Form.  In February 2016 the school successfully completed its sixth OFSTED inspection and was graded OUTSTANDING.
