TEACHER OF MATHS (maternity cover)

0.8 or full time

Required March/April 2021 for one year

We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and inspiring Teacher of Maths to join our successful and expanding department where Maths and Further Maths is taught up to ‘A’ level.  The department is well led and a dedicated team of specialists and students enjoy an excellent range of extra-curricular activities related to Maths, both in and out of school.

As a Mathematics and Computing Specialist School we offer not only excellent Maths teaching for our students but the ability to extend their Maths knowledge and understanding beyond the classroom.  Close links with local schools and universities, including Cambridge University, mean that students at Stanborough can enjoy some superb Maths opportunities. ‘A’ level teaching can be offered to suitable applicants.

This post would equally suit an experienced teacher or a newly qualified teacher for whom excellent induction and support is provided.
