Sponne is an outstanding, over-subscribed community comprehensive school with 1389 students aged 11-18 on roll and specialist status for Science and Music. Outcomes are very high with 78% of students gaining grades 9-4 in both English and Mathematics at GCSE and 86% gaining grades 9-4 in Mathematics.
Sponne is the lead school in the Swan Teaching Alliance which provides initial teacher training, CPD to partner schools and school to school support throughout South Northamptonshire.

Teacher of Maths
Full time, permanent post (MPS)
with opportunities for career progression/responsibility (TLR) for the right candidate
We are looking for a committed and talented Maths teacher to join our vibrant and extremely successful Mathematics faculty team in September 2019. Applications are welcome from experienced colleagues and NQTs. Experienced candidates could have the opportunity to progress to SLE status and become involved in the teaching school delivery team. NQT’s would be supported by a thorough induction programme and would benefit from a range of CPD offered through the teaching school to support career progression.
Standards are very high and the faculty is well resourced. A level uptake is very high including further maths provision. This is an ideal opportunity for the successful candidate to gain very valuable experience. Opportunities exist for future career advancement within the schools which form the Tove Learning Trust.
