Teacher of Maths

We are looking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and inspirational teacher to join our Mathematics department as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who really wants to make a difference to the lives of young people. Our single goal is “Students First” and you will be joining a strong team of professionals working to this sole aim.

The Academy benefits from being part of the Outwood Family of Schools, which affords opportunities for staff to work and progress across several schools if desired. All staff are guaranteed a minimum of two hours CPD per week and a further comprehensive programme of professional development is provided through our own network of teaching schools. Our Executive Director for Maths, Kathryn Greenhalgh, leads Yorkshire and the Humber Maths Hub. This, as well as her work with the DfE, means that OGAT maths departments are helping to inform the development and mould the landscape of mathematics both regionally and nationally.

We have a great training package for teachers new to the Trust from ECTs through to HODs which includes: Teaching for Understanding; Open Classroom events; Maths Matters; TSST; Reasoning at KS3; weekly professional development time and further programmes free through the Outwood Institute of Education. We invest in you so you invest in our students.
