We have a post available from September 2021 to teach Media and Film at KS4 and KS5. An interest in art and design, ICT and programming would be an advantage to applicants because much of what we do involves working with a range of industry standard software: film-making, animation and web creation are key elements of our courses.
The successful applicant will have the energy, enthusiasm and commitment to build on the team’s success and assist in taking the department forward in its delivery of an outstanding learning experience for all students.
We are an enthusiastic and highly committed team who pride ourselves on the quality of the relationships we have with our students and with each other, and with the quality of teaching and learning that goes on in our classrooms.
Whether you are just starting in the profession or have more experience, we don’t mind – we are looking for a passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to inspire and support every student they teach regardless of their level of ability and help us continue to be one of the leading Media departments in the country, and to develop others through our Teaching School status.
If you have imagination, drive and the desire to be successful, can demonstrate a passion for your subject and share this enthusiasm with students, we want to hear from you.
ESW is committed to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children, and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and an enhanced disclosure via the Disclosure and Barring Service.
