The successful candidate will work alongside our experienced Director of MFL and the friendly, committed, enthusiastic team of linguists in the MFL faculty, to engage students, raise aspirations and motivate them to reach their full potential. Darwen Aldridge Community Academy is a ‘groundbreaking’ 11-18 Academy at the heart of our community in Darwen. There are currently 1300 on roll, including 250 students in the Sixth Form. We are the lead school of the Aldridge Education northwest cluster of schools. There are many opportunities for professional development for our staff, both within DACA, and across our cluster of schools. We offer an excellent NQT and new staff induction programmes.
Darwen is situated near the Forest of Bowland, with excellent transport links to Preston, Manchester and Liverpool.
