Workington Academy is only a few miles from English Lake District and a great place to live and work!
The Academy is a new £16m building with state of the art facilities.
We have an exciting opportunity for a hardworking, energetic and innovative teacher of MFL to join our highly successful team of mutually supportive colleagues whose shared purpose is to inspire and challenge all students at Workington Academy. If you are creative in the ways you work with young people and passionate about your subject we would welcome your application. With good subject knowledge the ideal candidate would be able to teach French at KS3, KS4 and KS5. The ability to teach German would be an advantage.
This appointment is due to the Academy attracting more students in Year 7 and post 16 and it will be an exciting time to join Workington Academy. We are part of a forward thinking and innovative Multi Academy Trust who are committed to cooperative and collaborative approaches.
