We have a fantastic opportunity for an NQT to join the Faculty who will contribute positively to the development of this important subject area.  You will have the opportuntiy to teach KS3 and KS4, and support all of our Academies on their journey to become ‘great’ schools.  You will have enjoyed a range of experiences and will be committed to raising standards for all students, no matter what their starting point. If you are able to inspire young people to be the best that they can be, then we want to hear from you.

At Haywood Academy, we are proud to offer a comprehensive support programme for our Newly Qualified Teachers. NQTs at the Academy are allocated a Subject Mentor, a Professional Mentor and have weekly meeting opportunities with fellow NQTs and RQTs to share good practice and discuss personal development.  There is also a specific induction scheme that incorporates expertise from the Academy to provide specific training in behaviour management, SEND provision, technology in the classroom and teaching and learning models.

If you want to work in a Multi Academy Trust where you can make a real difference to young peoples’ life chances, working in a partnership of Academies that are committed to cooperation and collaboration to unlock talent and fulfill potential, then this is the post for you. In return, you will be supported and encouraged to develop your potential and enjoy a stimulating and rewarding career working across the City Learning Trust.
