Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages – Part Time

Crescent SchoolWarwickshire

Required from January 2022, an enthusiastic, innovative and highly motivated teacher to teach modern foreign languages from Reception to Year 6.  This is a part time post equivalent to 0.5 of a full timetable.

Foreign language learning is a highly valued area of the curriculum at Crescent. We are looking for an expert practitioner to engage and inspire the pupils, to build progression and development into their studies. All classes have one lesson a week devoted to language learning.

You will be expected to plan, deliver, assess and report MFL to all children from Reception to Year 6. Your teaching should provide the proper balance between spoken and written language. The successful candidate will need to be a fluent speaker of either French or Spanish and may also deliver a second language. Currently we teach mostly French with some Spanish, but the exact balance is negotiable to the right candidate.
