Job overview

Dulwich Prep London has a national reputation for excellence and outstanding teaching facilities.  Music is a great strength at The Prep with a department of six full-time staff and more than 30 visiting teachers.

Over 90% of boys in the School learn an instrument or participate in choirs, orchestras, and bands.  Many boys also compose and record their own music.

The school requires an outstanding musician who will teach class music to pupils in Early Years through to Year 4. Additionally, directing music for productions, assemblies, and events is also a key area of this role.

The successful candidate should be a pianist who will also be expected to contribute to school life beyond the Music Department.

The post may suit a newly qualified teacher or someone who aspires to run his or her own department or section.

Dulwich Prep London has its own salary scale incorporating the London Allowance.  There is a possibility of accommodation for the successful candidate.
