Job overview

We are seeking to appoint a   well-qualified, motivated and inspirational teacher of music. The successful candidate will teach music at Key Stage 3 and GCSE Music. A TLR is available  for a suitable candidate with the ability to lead the subject. The post is to cover maternity leave until September or December 2019. As a Teaching School we can offer the successful candidate excellent support and professional development. 

The Willink is a high performing   and oversubscribed school. In 2018 over 80% achieved the GCSE benchmark of 5+ grades 9-4 and 30% achieved A*/A at A level. The school has 1070   students on roll including 170 in the Sixth Form, and is situated in a pleasant semi-rural setting south west of Reading. The school’s Ofsted judgment in June 2018 was exceptionally positive.

The Willink is a mixed 11-18 community school with almost 1200 students on roll. We are the state school of choice for the local area and draw students from a wider region including Hampshire, Reading and Wokingham.
