We are seeking a committed and inspiring colleague with a real interest in the provision of high quality teaching of Music. Music is at the heart of our school and offered in all Key Stages with students in Year 7 and 8 benefitting from additional whole class singing. You will be joining an energised faculty with teaching and learning at the heart of their ethos. We also offer a vibrant extra-curricular programme with over 15% of our students participating in additional instrumental lessons and many more taking advantage of the numerous ensembles and performance opportunities.

Drayton Manor recognise and value continued professional development. Deliberate Practice, Curriculum specific training and Instructional Coaching are at the heart of our pedagogical training model with every teacher having the opportunity to work one-to-one with an expert coach. Additionally, we have a legacy of developing educational leaders including supporting staff through a range of National Professional Qualifications. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an ongoing commitment to professional development in all areas of their practice.

About Drayton Manor High School

Drayton Manor High School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form in London serving students between the ages of 11-19. The secondary school, situated in Ealing as approximately 1,566 students on record. 

Formerly Drayton Manor Grammar School, Drayton Manor High School was established in 1930, changing to a comprehensive status in 1975. The secondary school converted to academy status in 2012 and was identified as outstanding by Ofsted in the same year.
