St Joseph’s Catholic Academy seeks to appoint to the following role:

Teacher of Music 0.5 MPS 

Autumn Term

An enthusiastic and committed teacher is required for this successful department in our school. The successful candidate will be an outstanding practitioner, who will be able to teach in all key stages, to secure outstanding achievement and progress for our students. You will be joining a friendly and experienced team committed to collaborative working.

Interested colleagues should complete a (CES) Teaching Staff application form. This should be accompanied by a letter, addressed to the head teacher, outlining why you are interested in and feel qualified to take on this very important job. In doing so, please look carefully at those aspects of the person specification linked to the application process.

About St Joseph's Catholic Academy

St Joseph's Catholic academy is a growing and now oversubscribed Catholic secondary school.

We are very proud of the academic achievements of our students at all key stages, but we also have a clear focus on developing the ‘whole child’. ‘All pupils, including those with special education needs and/or disabilities, benefit from studying an ambitious curriculum and from having dedicated lessons that help them to develop as individuals.’ ‘There is a settled atmosphere in lessons and around school, and lessons are purposeful.’

St Joseph’s Catholic Academy is part of Bishop Chadwick Catholic Education Trust which is one of four Trusts in the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle. The Trust includes five Secondary and 25 Primary Schools across South Tyneside, Sunderland and East Durham.
