We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Music as the School expands and grows. The post holder should be able to:

  • Set challenging teaching and learning objectives based on student's knowledge
  • To facilitate outstanding progress for students
  • Plan and prepare resources using ICT
  • Work with department colleagues to develop schemes of work, teaching methodologies and resources.

Each teacher has an analyst available to them so that each student’s progress, attainment, and attitude towards learning is monitored during lessons. Weekly reports are available on the students’ learning dashboard, which is also accessible to parents. Performance of each student is evaluated by our school on a regular basis, using a wealth of tools and resources, to ensure that a first-class education is provided, building confident contributing members of society with a love of learning and a desire to continue into higher education.

As per the School’s safeguarding policy, once you have been invited for an interview, the school will contact your referees to obtain references prior to the interview. We will undertake an enhanced DBS check for this position. We will not let you commence until these checks, along with full medical clearance, are complete. We may also make enquiries to any of your previous employers to clarify or confirm information obtained at interview.
