Due to a promotion we are seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher who has a passion for all aspects of Physical Education. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a key and successful department in one of the oldest Catholic Boys schools in England and is an excellent foundation for someone starting their career.

We seek an enthusiastic teacher of Physical Education, who can work with a strong department. Sport is very popular in the College, and we are privileged to be a part of Chelsea Futsal Academy. The department has strong academic success at KS4 and KS5 and the successful candidate will have every opportunity to help build on the department's past performance. The school has a broad range of facilities including a swimming pool, sports hall and gym. 

Our sporting teams and individual sportsmen bring great success to the College and there are regular football, rugby and cricket tours.

Our most recent Ofsted in February 2020 rated the College ‘Good’ in all areas.

The successful candidate would be a passionate and dynamic teacher of Physical Education committed to raising the achievements of our students. You will be joining a strong, enthusiastic, subject specialist team with a record of accomplishment of success:

• Ranked 25th nationally of all Non-Selective Boys School for Progress 8.

• A Peter Jones Business Academy (part of a select group of schools nationally) providing exclusive resources, courses and competitions that enable all our students throughout the College to develop skills needed to be successful in their future lives. 

• Free use for staff of swimming pool and modern gym facilities

As an important core subject Physical Education is very popular at KS4 and KS5. The successful applicant will be passionate about the subject, be well organised and willing to go the “extra mile” to ensure pupils achieve.
