An exciting opportunity has arisen in our PE Department in this high achieving, caring and inclusive school, a short drive from Newcastle. The Department is comprised of a strong group of committed and supportive professionals. Our PE department is highly regarded and the subject is very popular and successful in the school curriculum. We expect our teachers to have the necessary subject knowledge to teach high achieving sixth form students and the skills to be able to inspire, motivate and support all students whatever their needs or abilities. A commitment to extra-curricular sport is essential; this is school with a very strong sporting tradition. We would welcome applications from NQTs and those with a keen interest in Rugby is also an advantage.
We are looking for someone who has high expectations of students and staff, a proven track record of outstanding teaching leading to excellent outcomes, and a belief that young people can achieve at a high standard regardless of starting points.
