Teacher of PE (Part-Time for September 2021 (Maternity Cover)

The Mount School York is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed temporary Teacher of PE for the academic year 2021-2022 to cover a maternity leave. The role is part-time, with an approximate 80-90% timetable. The successful candidate must be able to teach netball, dance and swimming as part of the core PE curriculum, and be committed to running a range of sports based extra-curricular activities. 

PE is a thriving subject at The Mount School and is a popular choice for students to take at GCSE and A Level. The successful candidate must be qualified to teach PE to both GCSE and A level and have experience preparing candidates for those examinations. 

The Mount School York is a high achieving day and boarding community set in 16 acres of beautiful grounds located ten minutes’ walk from York’s historic city centre.
