Craigholme is a Senior School for girls, with a coeducational Nursery and Junior School. Founded in 1884, Craigholme is the only remaining all-girls senior school in the West of Scotland. We strongly believe in our small class, single-sex approach and our girls’ academic performance is proof of its value.
A vacancy has arisen for a temporary Teacher of Physical Education and Games. The successful applicant will be expected to teach timetabled Physical Education and Games across all age groups in both junior and senior schools. In addition to teaching timetabled PE classes, delivery of extra-curricular sessions is expected as well as organising/assisting with sports fixtures on Saturday mornings.
The school aims to bring out the best in every pupil, combining high standards of teaching and a superb extra-curricular programme within an inclusive and caring ethos. Art, drama, music, public speaking and sport flourish, together with a range of clubs and societies. A willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school is essential.
The salary is in line with SNCT rates and will be dependent on experience.
