Required Teacher of PE for September 2020. 

We are seeking to appoint a passionate and dynamic teacher for September 2020, to teach across the key stages.  This role would suit  NQTs who would be supported as they start their careers and those seeking their next steps in professional journey.  

Our recent Ofsted in February 2020 rated the College ‘Good’ in all areas.

The department has links with Chelsea FC Futsal programme, with students in the 6th form following a Futsal programme leading to a 3 A level equivalent qualification.  This course is run by a combination of Chelsea coaches and PE staff.  The successful applicant will be passionate about the PE, be able to teach all areas of the curriculum, be well organised and willing to go the “extra mile” to ensure pupils achieve:

  • Ranked 25th Nationally of all Non-Selective Boys School for Progress 8 with P8 consistently above zero.
  • A Peter Jones Business Academy (part of a select group of schools nationally) providing exclusive resources, courses and competitions that enable all our students throughout the College to develop skills needed to be successful in their future lives. 
  • Free use for staff of swimming and modern gym facilities

As well as being a core subject PE is an important subject in our vibrant and growing 6th Form which normally has large Futsal Btec Sports courses running. The successful applicant will be passionate about the subject, be well organised and willing to go the “extra mile” to ensure pupils achieve.  In return we offer a supportive climate and a commitment to helping your career develop.
