Job overview
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate teacher to join our successful and experienced PE Department. The successful candidate will be an effective classroom practitioner and will be expected to deliver innovative, engaging and challenging lessons that ensure all students succeed as well as contribute fully to the ethos and culture of this flourishing Department.
The successful candidate will:-
- be passionate about Physical Education, and all aspects of education;
- have the ability to deliver KS4 examination courses including GCSE PE and/or OCR Cambridge Nationals would be preferable;
- contribute to an extensive extra-curricular programme
- have the highest expectations for all young people;
- be able to enthuse, engage, motivate and challenge students and staff to raise achievement at all levels;
- be self-motivated with excellent inter-personal skills;
- be able to work as part of a team yet has individual skills and initiative.
