TEACHER OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION
Required for September 2018
This selective Academy Grammar School is seeking an enthusiastic teacher of physical education to join a well-established department. The successful candidate will be expected to teach throughout the School, including making a contribution to GCSE and/or A Level. The ability to offer a second subject may be an advantage. The successful candidate would also be expected to make a contribution, across a number of sports, to the School’s strongly established extra-curricular provision.
The School offers a friendly but determined working environment, with an academic culture that is challenging, rigorous and student-centred. The department is well-resourced and all teaching staff have access to excellent support and professional development opportunities. As such, this role would suit either an experienced or newly-qualified teacher. For a suitably-qualified candidate, there may be the possibility of some pastoral responsibility.
