We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and determined Physicist with a passion for the subject and the ability to enthuse and engage students and the dedication, commitment and strategies to raise attainment at post 16 Key Stage 5 level.

Long Road is a thriving, successful and post 16 Sixth Form College 2,400 students on roll in post-16 studies. Conveniently located close to the M11 and A14, within easy reach of several areas of outstanding natural beauty and the Norfolk Suffolk coast, the college is set next to the Biomedical Campus in its own attractive grounds in the beautiful, thriving and expanding Bio/Technical city of Cambridge.

Lessons in our Science Department are delivered in a suite of well-resourced, purpose built, laboratories fully equipped with data projectors, white boards, and laptops all resourced by dedicated laboratory technicians.

Up to £5,000 relocation package is offered, with submission of receipts. To include removal costs, home sale/rental costs, new location searches and home appliances (if required).

Up to £5,000 incentive, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate outstanding outcomes, with positive value added over the past three years.
