Teacher of Physics

South Hampstead High School, the 2022 Independent Girls’ School of the Year, seeks an energetic and inspirational Teacher of Physics to join a lively, enthusiastic and forward-looking Science Department.

You will teach Physics to bright, engaged and committed students, utilising a range of teaching strategies and resources to meet your pupils' educational needs and expectations. You will also contribute to the Science Department's ambitious and exciting co-curricular provision, which includes a Practical Science Club, Competitive Science Club, A Level extension sessions, Science Lit. Club and a Gardening Club.

You will be a dynamic individual, with a demonstrable passion for Physics and the ability to impart this enthusiasm on your students. You will be capable of working effectively as part of a team, and will exhibit good practical ICT skills. Ideally, you will be a qualified teacher with a proven track record, however we also welcome applications from ECTs, well-qualified graduates and those looking to begin a career in teaching.
