Teacher of Physics

We are looking for two additional full-time teachers in our biology and mathematics departments, and a physics teacher to teach Years 7 to 11. Candidates wishing to apply should have a passion for delivering engaging, boy-centred learning.  Experience at GCSE level would be advantageous but we will consider applications from NQTs.

A willingness to become involved with all aspects of the school’s life is essential, as is a desire to explore innovative ways of getting the very best from boys.

Thorpe House School is an all-through independent school in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire, teaching boys aged 4-16. The Lower School (up to Year 5) operates on its own site and the Middle School (Years 6 to 8) and the Upper School (Years 9 to 11) are based on the main site.  The school has excellent facilities including a seven-acre games field, covered swimming pool and a new multi-purpose hall offering additional classroom space and increased indoor sporting opportunities.
