Job overview

Our School:

“Trinity School has a s strong, inclusive and caring ethos. Pupils are taught to be responsible, compassionate citizens. Pupils enjoy and behave well”.

Trinity School is a dynamic, forward thinking and oversubscribed mixed Church of England learning community for pupils aged 11-18. Teaching is motivating and fun, and learning opportunities are not confined to the classroom; we offer a range of educational opportunities for all our pupils. We seek to challenge our pupils’ perceptions and aim to equip them with the skills to be independent and resilient learners. The school is a member of the Trinitas Academy Trust, a collaboration of one secondary school and five primary schools.

We provide excellent training and an induction support programme for new staff and ECTs, as well as the highest quality professional development through the extensive use of professional networks across the trust. This is a school with a harmonious working environment and supportive colleagues, which has a very strong shared Christian ethos.

Your new role:

You will be an experienced or Newly Qualified Teacher of Product Design who can plan, teach, and assess their specialism from KS3 to KS5 (including Cambridge Technical). You will be responsible for ensuring the effective teaching and learning of pupils, instilling in them a love of Product Design. The school is looking for an exceptional teacher who can create a supportive, encouraging and safe learning environment for all pupils of diverse backgrounds and abilities. Opportunities for more departmental responsibility may be available in the future, for an exceptional candidate.

What you will need to succeed:

You will need to exhibit a passion for Product Design and innovation, radiating creativity and enthusiasm in the classroom. You will have high expectations of yourself and the pupils, and demonstrate a flexible approach to working with other members of staff. You will be committed to improving the learning outcomes for all pupils in the school and sustaining our commitment to providing opportunities for all pupils to excel.
