We are seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic teacher to teach A Level and BTEC Psychology and Criminology. The successful candidate will be an inspirational teacher, able to demonstrate a passion for their subject area with the ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities in the 16-19 age range. With a demonstrable record of good or outstanding results, you will have a commitment to raising aspirations and achievement and supporting the wider college community. If you are currently undertaking initial teacher training, you will have demonstrated outstanding potential and aptitude for post-16 teaching.

New College Bradford, which opened in September 2019, is a 16-19 free school with 1,200 students on roll. The college sits within the New Collaborative Learning Trust, a multi-academy trust established by New College Pontefract (an Ofsted outstanding provider). The Colleges and Schools in the Trust work closely together, presenting exciting opportunities for collaboration, support, development and progression. We believe that students at New College Bradford should enjoy high-quality teaching and learning underpinned by a culture of high expectations, challenge and support, both for students and staff, which will enable young people in Bradford to secure high-quality qualifications to support them into employment, training and higher education.

New College Bradford will primarily deliver A Levels, alongside a number of Level 3 Applied General qualifications.

Salary: NSP 1-9 (£25,570 - £41,732) FTE depending on experience.A recruitment and retention allowance may be offered for an outstanding candidate.
