Main Scale, Full-time Permanent Post - with the opportunity for TLR Responsibilities
Applications are invited from well-qualified teachers of Sociology/Psychology and who are committed to the highest standards of achievement. The Social Sciences Faculty has a record of academic success and is progressive and innovative, both in terms of teaching style and content. The post would be appropriate for an NQT or a more experienced teacher. The successful candidate would be required to teach Sociology and Psychology.
Charters School is a very heavily over-subscribed 11-18 Comprehensive Academy School with 1700 students on roll (including 400+ in the Sixth Form) located in Sunningdale. It has been graded an “outstanding” school on two successive occasions and is a dynamic, high-achieving secondary school where students are polite, motivated to succeed and enjoy their education.

Charters School is a very heavily over-subscribed 11-18 Comprehensive Academy School with 1700 students on roll (including 390 in the Sixth Form) located in Sunningdale, Ascot, Berkshire. The school has celebrated its 65th anniversary, having been opened on the 23 April 1958, which is also St. George’s Day and Shakespeare’s birthday. The red cross of the school badge comes from the cross of St. George, the dagger symbolises Shakespeare and the stag is the symbol of Berkshire.
