Axe Valley Academy is entering a very exciting period in its development. After working in a formal partnership with Holyrood Academy in Chard since April 2016, Axe Valley Academy became part of the Vector Learning Trust on 1st April 2017. We believe that the benefits of working within the Trust and the extra capacity that this will bring will be hugely beneficial to us as we look to further develop the Academy at pace in the coming months and years.
We are seeking to appoint an excellent teacher of KS4 & 5 Psychology and KS5 Sociology who has the energy and enthusiasm needed to inspire and motivate students. The candidate must have high expectations and want to work within a school where we are ambitious for all our students whatever their abilities.

You will be joining a department which has a dynamic, supportive team ethos and continually seeks to improve the teaching and learning experience. The post is full-time however part-time working will be considered as long as the curriculum can be sufficiently covered.
