We are seeking to appoint an individual who loves to teach and loves to learn and who has a passion for Psychology teaching.  This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a popular KS5 subject in one of the oldest Catholic schools in England and is an excellent foundation for further career progression. 

We are seeking an enthusiastic Psychology teacher who is passionate about the subject, well organised, and willing to go the “extra mile” to ensure pupils achieve. The ability to teach another subject would be desirable.  This is a popular subject in the 6th form and there may be opportunities to expand the subject, possibly to KS4.

We are looking for applicants who are highly motivated and ready to contribute to helping the College as we build on our 2016 Good OFSTED rating.

You must:

  • Be a passionate advocate of the subject who      contributes effectively to departmental and whole school      improvement. 
  • Be highly motivated and demonstrate the      highest professional standards
  • Be willing to teach across the full age and      ability range at age 11-18, including A-level. 
  • Be able and willing to make a full      contribution to the life of the school. 
  • Have high expectations of yourself and      others 
  • Be a good communicator with excellent      interpersonal skills 
  • Be flexible and a good team player
