Forest Gate Community School is a community school in East London, close to Stratford and Forest Gate train stations. We are looking for a Teacher of Religious Education from April 2021. We would like to appoint someone who is keen on their subject and enjoys teaching.

We are a forward-thinking school that has dispensed with formal lesson observations, retrospective book marking and written student exam reports but we maintain very high standards of care and outcomes, being Ofsted rated “Outstanding” and in the top 1% of schools nationally for progress for the last three years. Behaviour is excellent and the students are keen to progress and are used to working hard.

We prefer candidates who are organised, friendly, and who possess a positive work ethic. Having a few good ideas is always welcome.
