Situated close to the centre of Cambridge, Long Road is a popular and successful Sixth Form College with 2,300 16-19 year-old full-time students. Long Road was judged by OFSTED to be Good all five categories, and we are now taking the next steps to become an Outstanding College.

To commence September 2019, we require an adaptable and enthusiastic teacher to undertake maternity cover across our Humanities and Social Sciences departments.
As our ideal candidate, you will have experience of teaching Religion, Philosophy and Ethics to A Level, and experience of teaching Social Sciences would be highly advantageous. A commitment to our ethos of working in partnership with individual students to ensure that each achieves their full potential is essential.
This role is offered in the region in the region of 0.80 FTE, but may increase to 1.00 FTE dependent on Student numbers for academic year 2019/20.

Long Road is a thriving, successful post 16 Sixth Form College with 2,400 students on roll, in post-16 studies.
