Required for September 2019, The Governors of this outstanding, high achieving and overscubscribed Catholic Voluntary Academy seek to appoint an enthusiastic and well qualified gradudate teacher to teach Regligious Education.  An ability to teach KS5 would be advantageous.  NQT's and trainee teachers achieving QTS by July 2019 are welcome to apply.

Religious Education is central to the life of the school and is taught across all key stages and ability ranges.  The Catholic ethos of the school is very imporant and is supported by all staff, feedber primary schools and local parishes.

St Mary's is a popular and higly successful school situated on the North West fringe of Leeds, close to the Yorkshire Dales.  The school is part of the Bishop Wheeler Catholic Academy Trust which consists of the high school and 9 primary schools.  The April 2014 Section 48 inspection and November 2014 Ofsted inspection judged St Mary's as an outstanding school.  We became a Teaching School in October 2015 and a National Support School in September 2017.
