Job overview

Bilton School | Teacher of Science (all specialisms welcome)

Our aim at Bilton is to put students at the heart of everything we do so that they develop the confidence, skills and qualifications to ensure that they are happy and successful.

We are delighted to be able to offer this exciting opportunity for a talented Teacher of Science to join our supportive and ambitious school from September 2018 or sooner. The successful candidate will be an inspirational and driven individual who wants to work in an environment that genuinely puts pupils first. Regardless of your experience you will be supported not only from within the department, but also through our cross-subject coaching structures. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to teach across KS3, KS4 and KS5, with applications welcome from all science specialisms. This position is available to both newly qualified and more experienced teachers, with responsibility points negotiable for a suitably experienced candidate.

It is a particularly exciting time to join us as we have recently become part of the newly formed Stowe Valley MAT, which is led by Southam College (an Ofsted Outstanding school). This exciting development has further enhanced our ability to offer inspirational and supportive leadership and CPD for all of our staff and we actively support excellent teachers, whatever their experience, in moving up the pay scale to UPS rapidly.

This is an exceptional opportunity to join an ambitious school and department. We welcome colleagues who really want to make a difference to the lives of young people and who share in our passion for engaging students in learning and inspiring them to achieve. If you can motivate and inspire students and have high expectations of them and yourself, then we would love to hear from you.

Be the best you can be!

Informal visits are welcome and encouraged.
