Full-time (1.0 FTE), Ongoing, Commencing Term 1 2019

MLC, Claremont  seeking a dynamic and experienced teacher of Science (Chemistry) for a full-time (1.0 FTE), ongoing teaching position commencing in Term 1 2019.

  •  The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications;
  • Considerable evidence of progress towards achieving Highly Accomplished teacher status, in accordance with the AITSL standards;
  • Demonstrated teaching excellence in Chemistry (up to and including Year 12) essential;
  • Previous experience teaching Physics would be highly desirable;
  • Highly developed analytical and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build excellent relationships with staff, students, parents, general public and professional networks.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills;
  • The ability to work collaboratively as a team member and independently; and
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
