Teacher of Science – Chemistry Specialist (with possibility of Deputy Director of Faculty responsibilities)  

ABOUT THE ROLE

The governors of Onslow St Audrey’s are seeking to appoint to the Science Faculty a Teacher of Science who is an outstanding practitioner, inspirational and ambitious to teach across all key stages. We are looking for someone who can inspire all our young people learn, contribute and thoroughly enjoy school life whilst raising attainment, achievement and progress.  TLR could also be available for a suitably experienced candidate for Deputy Director of Learning for Science.

We are looking for someone who is focused, resilient and good humoured with excellent subject knowledge who can engage our students in developing a passion for Science. You will report to the Director of Learning and will support the next stage of development for this important subject.  Applicants should also possess excellent communication skills, be extremely motivated and have exceptional interpersonal skills. We welcome NQT applicants and have a support programme in place for all NQT staff. The successful candidate must be willing to contribute to the wide and varied extra-curricular programme we offer at the school. The ability to teach Chemistry up to A-level would be desirable but not essential.
