The Role

Our successful Science Department requires a permanent, part time (0.5fte) Teacher of Science to teach across both KS3 and KS4.  This is an innovative department looking for a confident and talented individual to become part of our hard working team. The post is available from September and is partly in response to an increase in pupil numbers.

The post is suitable for an experienced teacher or a highly motivated newly qualified teacher wishing to join a team of specialists who ensure a high standard of teaching, learning and achievement.  We would welcome applications from candidates with any science background, although an interest in STEM would be an advantage.  

Applications are welcomed from individuals who will be able to contribute to the Science Depaprtment and are committed to maintaining high standards.

The College

Chulmleigh Community College is a high performing, ambitious secondary school well known for exemplary behaviour and conduct. This is a school where teachers focus upon high quality teaching. Our GCSE results are consistently amongst the best in the south west. Our recent Ofsted inspection, in February 2018, judged that our school remains a ‘good school’. Inspectors observed excellent standards of conduct around the school.
