About the role: We seek to appoint an enthusiastic, inspiring Teacher who can bring Science to life and create a nurturing learning environment within which everyone can reach their full potential. Join the Science team at Stationers’ Crown Woods Academy and you will be part of a vibrant, experienced, supportive science team. We believe in working collaboratively, sharing ideas and supporting each other to achieve great things and see this as the key to further developing innovative teaching and learning strategies. Our successful applicant will join us for January 2018 or sooner. This role can be offered on a full or part time basis to suit the requirements of our successful candidate; we are fortunate in that we have flexibility in the timetable to accommodate this as this is an additional role for the department.
The ideal candidate will be able to teach across the ability range for KS3 and KS4 and a real interest in developing teaching and learning is also important. The science subjects are an incredibly popular choice within our sixth form and teaching opportunities are available at post-16 for the right candidate. Working at Stationers' Crown Woods Academy: The Stationers’ Crown Woods Academy joined our Trust in 2014. The campus incorporates nine buildings which include four home schools each serving 450 pupils and students, a Design, Technology and Creative and Performing Arts School, a Sport & Community Education Centre and an Inclusions Hub.
