Beaumont school is offering an excellent opportunity to join a high-achieving department within an outstanding school (Ofsted, 2014). We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and skilled science teacher, who is able to teach all ages and abilities, 11-18, including A level. The Science department is the largest in the school and benefits from experienced and newer members of staff. Science is well resourced and supported by five excellent technicians. The department has a high profile within the school and achieves outstanding results. Large numbers of students choose to study science at A level and at university and we offer a full enrichment programme such as the Physics Olympiad, Cambridge Chemistry Challenge, Young Engineers and much more. This is an exciting time to join our team as we have just moved into a new state of the art Science Block which includes 12 modern laboratories and three preparation rooms, as well as a teachers’ work room.
Early applications are encouraged as the school reserves the right to close the advert should we feel able to appoint an appropriate candidate.
